What's for Dinner Tonight? ~ 2016 (Los Angeles, Boise, burgers, grilled)

The husband came home from working in Connecticut. So to celebrate he's making reubens.
Yummy and I don't have to cook! Bonus!

Must be Taco Salad night! Like JayinCA , we are having a large Taco Salad with black bean and sherry soup.

DH is making us Margaritas.

Pineapple bread pudding for desert.

Tonight is spaghetti and meat sauce with a carrot/broccoli salad.

I've never made this underrated Southern dish before, I'm not disappointed.
Hearty, filling, a bit spicy with my simple add in's.

I got the recipe from a church guy, spinning me a yarn about how Hoe cakes got their name..

I'll admit, I miss the soup broth from my ham and bean soup, but not enough that I wont
make this again..
