I have some leftover cooked farro so I'm making Suvir Saran's farro mushroom burgers which I plan to use as a side for some grilled salmon, along with steamed broccoli.
Tonight potato salad and leftover tandoori chicken breast. To drink lassi or sour lemon water. For dessert I was able to buy more Washington cherries,1 lb/$ 2.88 Canadian.
sliced potatoes
blanched green beans
blanched asparagus
Vidalia or red onion
fine chopped curly parsley
a few toasted walnuts
olive oil
red wine vinegar
Dijon mustard
garlic clove or two
salt/black pepper to taste
I thought the Chicken Cacciatore was okay, flavorful and stuff but chicken with tomato is not one of my favorite combos.
We will be running around most of the day, so tonight will be something easy like bunless angus burgers with the usual veggies and avocado.
