Congrats, Praline and great news, Debsi! Happy for both of you
Last night, dinner was a vegetarian cauliflower faux fried rice, pears for dessert.
Tonight will be salmon and asparagus.
And hockey playoffs start tonight!
Yes
Tonight spinach parathas with lime/lemon pickle, homemade plain yogurt and onion, tomato, cucumber slices. For dessert baked Macintosh apple with vanilla sauce.
Hmmm, I have all the ingredients for that, a variation might make it to the dinner table tonight!

so much better to read good news, than sad news. We get to much sadness these days.
Debsi, So happy you got favorable results. I know how hard it is to wait for the news. Take care and again, great news.
Praline, enjoy her while you can, they grow up too fast. We have 5 great grand kids, 4 girls and a boy. the oldest is now 11; time goes by and sometimes all we can think about are the days they were just little babies or toddlers. We feel so lucky to have all 5 living within 20 minutes or so of our house. We get to see them or talk to them often even though they live very busy lives.
Tonight it is chicken quarters in a brandy and apricot sauce, lots of green veggies as we have so many in the fridge and it is almost shopping time again and last we are having rice.
If there's something in the freezer I may just get off my duff and fire up the grill... Steak, with the trimmings.
Porterhouse is thawing. Asparagus and a sweet potato... It's about time for real food.
