We are going out tonight with old friends. Everyone is meeting at our house first. I will just have pick foods, nothing heavy. I will put out a baguette with a couple lovely cheeses I picked up today. I picked up this https://culturecheesemag.com/cheese-library/Gisele and an aged Vermont cheddar with those crystals I adore. I forgot the name though. I bought some prosciutto for tonight's spread. I will also put out slices pears, gala apples and some moondrop grapes. Just enough to nosh but not enough to make anyone feel too full.

last night we had gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches from a local grilled cheese joint, I had the BBQ chicken grilled cheese with homemade chips on sourdough and DH had the lobster and crab grilled cheese on sourdough with homemade chips. Tonight hubby had ribs and grits that I made and I wasn't too hungry so I had PB on toast.
We had dinner at the neighborhood Italian joint - I had pasta alla checca (roma tomatoes, garlic, and olive oil) and he had a monster italian sausage sub with marinara.
Was not feeling well most of the day, so I just ate chicken noodle soup.
