We tried a family member's instant pot tonight and made chicken adobo that we had with brown rice, and carrots with a whiskey & ginger glaze. It was all good.

last night at the diner, I had a cup of veggie chili to start and then a bruschetta with goat cheese topped with a balsamic dressed tomato avocado salad. It was all very tasty.
Today I'm craving meat, so I'll probably make pork chops for dinner with middle eastern spicing and roasted eggplant, also with middle eastern spicing. Pears for dessert.
Beautiful day here before a huge cold front comes rushing in tomorrow, so we are playing like it is summer time: Spoiled brat is going to do steak on the grill, with grilled veggies. I will do baked potatoes but will skip the green salad. We have had some type of green salad almost daily the past week or two and I am salad out for a few days.
