I don't eat anything I listed (if I remember correctly) anymore, I would if I could, but old trumps treats.
I eat them once in a while, but I suffer for having done it. I always think about it for a while. Do I want to eat that, or leave the house? Sometimes eating it wins.
Hence forth I will be eating even LESS of what I put on my list.
My DH is recovering from a heart attack, so I have vowed to eat exactly what he eats. We eat pretty healthy on the surface, but there are still things that have to go.
So this thread is kind of fantasy food porn for me - stuff I never ate regularly but could eat a few times a year, if that.
Now? Not at all. Which is probably a good thing. But, I love reading the list.
LOL. Food porn.
Plain greasy Lay's potato chips, or! Lay's BBQ chips dipped in sour cream! (apparently I now have food Tourettes)
Anyway! Glad your hubby is doing better, and I'm not surprised you will be eating the same food, and I'm sure the even healthier version will be as delicious as your previous meals.
I've always read your dinner menu's and wished you were a restaurant in my area.

I shouldn't say never, more like very rarely. They had cake at sewing class, and dammit, I ate cake, and then felt sick from the sugar. /lol
I have great self control if the offending item is not in the house, and we rarely have this stuff in the house, but when it is?
I fall off the wagon, and then burn the wagon.

I absolutely adore potato chips with California onion dip. Once or twice a year I'll allow myself to indulge, usually on Thanksgiving or New Year's Eve.

Now I'm hankering for barbecue potato chips dipped in sour cream. Might have to stop at the store on my way home!
I had to settle for raw cauliflower with ranch dip, which I LIKE, but I want BBQ chips and sour cream.

Yes, yes and yes - although I'm not sure if my homemade raw cookie dough would be considered edible. But I didn't die, so it must have been OK.
