Yep guess since the 4 seasons have been whacky for most of us we all must be getting spring fever. I know my kids go back to school the 10th they really want to take a trip somewhere. So we are headed to the state fair on Friday. Canning is keeping me from the computer lately.

Hey congrats on star #8! I'm missing a lot right now with my friends but think of me as the worker ant storing up for winter. I'll feed ya all if needed.
Ants winter better than grasshoppers. Keep the canners hot.

I needed some good laughs tonight and y'all have provided them...This thread has taken a great direction....well, direct to Missouri with kshe at the helm, that is.....So you are coming my way soon??????? I'll thaw some venison sausage and have the crackers (all types) and many cheeses ready for y'all. Oh, and many of god Missouri wines to wash it all down with. ( notice all of the sentences ending with a preposition??? ) pure Midwest or PA Dutch.

We have St. James, Augusta, Hermann, Bland, and many other towns around with some of the best tasting wines. See y'all soon, I hope. Have a great spot for a whole hog roast also!!!!

10 months smoke free that is awesome congrats! That's why I will have a big container of snacks for you on the motor home trip. I'm at the 6 months smoke free mark.

Heading to bed see ya all later last canner load is cooling down on the counter top now.

Congrats to all the newly smokefree CD'ers! Yeah, it is SO tough. I know, I've done it myself. Took at least a year before I stopped craving a ciggie. But think of all the money you're saving! Not to mention your health.

Tonight, it was Chicken Cacciatore, with fusilli pasta. Had it slow-cooking in the late afternoon, making the house smell real nice.
