Macies yes he had 3 Congressional appts. and a footbal pick (1 of 12 in the country)-but sadly he hated the regimentation-23 credits, gootball, scrubbing steps w/toothbrushes he lasted from July to April. Sad part-he gave up a scholarship to Penn State and one to Notre Dame because he signed with the Academy.

He ended up at U of So Carolina and loved it and is very successful.

Your daughter did well - bet you're proud.

Those days were hectic but there are times I wish them back.

OK, my food confession is I once tasted a small piece of a boiled chitlin! I AM STILL HAVING CHITLIN FLASHBACKS!!!!!! No way to describe a chitlin's taste.....it tastes like a chitlin! (Just make sure and shake the **** out of it first! Blah!)

Note to self....be careful around tequila. Don't want to end up eating choc. covered beetles.....

I agree. It is the nastiest smelling stuff in the world. My mom got some one time so we could try it out. We ended up eating grilled cheese for dinner.

Debey out here in October they have a festival in a town Clithera-Rocky Mtn Oyster Festival and it attracts thousands-but minus 2 with Mr. L and I. I'll pass.

I've cooked a few 100 lbs, for feeds, over the years. in fact, we just did some, last weekend........
