I did the potato soup tonight with a ham bone cooked down first since I didn't get to it the other night....sprinkled on some chopped scallions, fresh dill, and lemon thyme...

Know it is late and I won't get to all my threads but wanted to post our supper. Plus see what ya all had too.

We had crab salad with crackers, grapes and carrot sticks. Knew it was going to be a late night after practice and got a request for nothing 'heavy'.

Hi y'all! Back from the fair..

Fried butter is not good! It was like they take some regular bread dough, put a small lump of butter inside, deep fry it, and slather it with more butter.

So a very greasy roll. 3 of us couldn't even finish one order.

But I had a corny dog, those homemade potato chips, and an ear of corn, so I was happy.

Tonight before dinner I have to go to the gym....

Then we'll have pork chops, green beans, and maybe some noodles if we "need" a carb.

yesterday a friend of mine caught a red drum, and I cut him into nuggets, battered him in Natty Light and zatarain's fish fry, and fried him on a skillet in peanut oil.
