You caught the hummingbird?? That won't make a meal. Tentative plans say we are going out tonight. We'll see!

Default Some Important Details... lol

1) Yes satx, I caught the little bird this morning. When I came downstairs, it was up against a window pane on the bow window. I took the screen out of the end panel window and scooped the little guy up in a linen towel. Before I could let him fly away, I had to pick a wad of dog fur off his head!!! lololol It looked like a veil and it was shakin' it's poor little head trying to get it off itself. IT sure was happy to get away! And I was happy to see it go!!!!!

2) Kshe... I will now be getting a greek salad and a gourmet pizza delivered. lol Chicken, onion, jalapeno, and mushrooms on a white cheese crust and I put a light dab of dijon mustard here and there on it. There used to be a restaurant with that pizza on its menu. When they did it, they put the mustard right on the dough before the cheese layer. YUMMY!

Default Ps

I just saw the momma bird barkin' her head off at my cat. It isn't a hummingbird after all... but I don't know what it is... it's got a long beak for its body... and it's got the coloring of a house swallow with a rusty chest and head... anyone know what bird that is? Is it a house swallow? There must be a nest nearby and the little guy took his first solo flight yesterday. What a trip!!!!!

I'm having thin slice BBQ pork and a nuke baked potato. Most likely some kind of fruit salad to top it off.
