Sunny and Aaron.

Good grief watching them you'd think black people hardly ever eat vegetables. We do!

They make a lot of really heavy dishes and they are almost always using beef or pork.

Ooohh forgot about Sunny-her food looks good but she's grating.

What gets me and I'd like to slap the execs is constant repeats!

The Food Network is the first thing I check when I turn on the TV. I am surprised at the Giada and Paula haters! Giada only pisses me off because she is so darn skinny and cooks all that italian food - totally unfair. I LOVE Barefoot Contessa. There is something calming about her show and she makes easy food look very gourmet.

Now Rachael Ray - no way. She is way too yappy for me. I like Alton Brown on Iron Chef, but feel like a preschooler when I try to watch his show. Also Aaron..... (Big Daddys house) I tried what looked like an amazing sweet potato recipe of his - it was hideous - and I will eat anything.

Absolutely can't stand the Neely's. It's like they're still in high school, why do they think we want to be exposed to that! Did anyone else catch "What Would Brian Boitano (sp?) Make?" worst food network show ever? Don't know who thought giving him a cooking show just because he was an olympic skating medalist was a good idea.

I noticed something the other day and have a new rant:

The TV cooks/stars I would most like to slap around?

ALL of the cooks (mostly female) who cook with their long hair flowing free.

Yeah, I know it's TV and they have to look good, but still. Finding hair in your meal is the biggest YUCK.

I thought I'd post the link so you all can hopefully get some laughs, too. Honestly, there were parts of this thread where I was laughing so hard that I was crying. Maybe I'm easily entertained, though.

Which TV cook/chef would you like to SLAP AROUND? - cooking Discussion Forum

So who would you like to slap around?

Poor Guy Fieri, Paula Deen and especially Sandra Lee REALLY get slapped around.

Personally, I wouldn't mind smacking Emerill.
There's no one I'd want to slap around but I'd love to take Gordon Ramsay by the ear and lead him to the laundry sink and wash his foul mouth out with Solvol.

Giada looks like she's standing on eleven phone books.

I will never forget the Paula Deen show where she took a cake or something out of the oven and lifted a big, long grey hair off the middle. Right on camera. Eww...I mean, I always found her cooking atrocious before but that took it to a whole new level. Or Giada leaning over the stove with her hair dangling into the pot. Disgusting. Of course, I was probably the only viewer who noticed that and not her cleavage, ha ha.

I've also noticed these female "cooks" don't remove their gaudy rings when they cook. I don't know one woman who sticks her hands in raw meatloaf with her wedding ring still on.
