Sophia, that looks heavenly. I've been looking for something different to do with pork chops. I may give that a whirl tomorrow!

We have the 6 p.m. game this weekend so it's party food. We are having hot wings, popcorn chicken, celery sticks, and potato skins. Please don't tell me how bad that is, lol.

Tomorrow (Sunday) it will be roast beef with creamed potatoes and gravy. And perhaps cucumber salad.

Well, I had BLT's for dinner. Cooked up the whole pound of bacon. I thought it was very interesting how the bacon cooked. I cut it in half so that it would fit on the pan right, and half of it curled up like an Afro, and the other half cooked straight as a board...well, maybe not THAT straight, but pretty straight anyhow.

Actually, I had more than just BLT's, because I put the curly bacon in the microwave so that I could be assured it was cooked--and ate it also.

I made chile rellenos with roasted poblano chiles stuffed with soy cheese in an egg/flour batter fried in olive oil topped with guacamole.

Quite a splurge for this lazy cook!

We were invited to a friend's house for supper. Lasagna, mixed veggies and garlic bread.

A big bowl of vegetable chicken soup with french-fried onions sprinkled on top.

It finally got cold enough for soup! Yay!
