i have to say that my favorite kitchen gadget is the can opener.

Myfavorite thing is my microwave rice cooker. It's great on a day when I get home late and have to throw together something quick.

I just got a couple of ceramic knives. WOW ! ! they are sharper than any steel knife I ever used.
