Where are you located? Let's talk!
Didn't there used to be eBay "stores" where you could drop off your stuff and get a percentage after it sold?

I'm not sure about ebay stores but for larger items you could check with consignment stores. There are some for clothes, antiques, and also some for basic household items. It would be awesome if you find a mix. Again that would work best for more valuable items.
I'm in Florida right now but building a barn so no spare time
Donating is a better use of my time than trying to sell for usually pennies on the dollar.
Exactly. The cost of your time needs to be factored on cleaning, arranging for sale, pricing, time spent with customers etc. If you pay yourself even min wage, you might find out you just don't make the money to offset your time and energy...
Around here there are a number of indoor flea markets with various household items. Going rate for the one in Lawrenceburg is $1.50 per s.f. per month (a full booth is $120/mo), plus 5% of the sale price. Indoors, secure, regular shoppers. A lot of it is junk, but there are some things worth buying.
In selling anything you have to find the market and you have to target the shopper. Yard sale and flea market shoppers are experienced and jaded. Craigslist and similar are where most scams and sales of stolen items take place.
I thought they'd all gone out of business? Fabulous; thank you!
