I buy most of my groceries at Fred Meyer (good variety of mainstream and natural/organic foods) and Albertson's simply because of it's proximity. Occasionally I'll go to local natural foods stores as well.
"Whole Paychecks" is a common synonym for Whole Foods - but they do have things you can't get other places. Unfortunately, I have to drive over 100 miles if I want to go to one (or to a Trader Joe's).
I belong to a CSA, and I get vegies, fruits, eggs there every week. I go to the farmer's markets. For most groceries, I go to Fred Meyer (bought by Kroger's years and years ago).
One of the few things I'm somewhat disappointed in with my new town is the lack of a quality grocery store.
I couldn't vote because I shop at multiple stores. Safeway, Fred Myers which is owned by Krogers and Super Walmart. Safeway and Fred Myers are the stores in my neighborhood. The Super Walmart outside of town I just go to once a month, so I can stock up on a large number of items.
