So, what exactly do you want to tax at the federal level? They don't have income/profit. And if you believe they do, then I assume you also want to start taxing all universities and their endowments, political parties, etc?

Remember that "the power to tax is the power to destroy", so you also most likely need a constitutional amendment to do what you want.

I agree with your statement as 200K is nothing on a relative term. However, $200K should absolutely be enough to repay debts, esp. for a single person.

That being said, we are stuck with two less ideal candidates and down to which one will do less damage before the next election in 2022.

I am seriously beginning to think that I am the only one on here who actually read the bill!
Studies have shown that very few people get past the first paragraph of a news article and a large minority don't get past the headline, let alone actually read a bill. So you probably are the only one.

You are talking about a small part of the American population. Abrams doesn't have children.
Are you aware of what the median family income is in Atlanta? Or the state?

People twist religion for their own benefit - they want to enforce the "hate the gays" part of the Bible (which doesn't exist) but have no problem ignoring all of the other parts of the Bible that are inconvenient for them.

2. Doesn't matter what the text says. Even the mention of this bill has hurt our Amazon chances. Businesses exist on PR. Prominent film studios and actors have already said if such a bill passes they will boycott Georgia. Is it really worth the national uproar, the embarrassment, and the potential hit to our place economy and ability to compete to create a law to address a complete stupid and made up problem similar to the idiotic "bathroom bill" of NC that led to McCrory's ouster as governor?

3. Why do you care? Do you personally have a faith based organization that you want to avoid the icky gays? Do you have family or friends who want to discriminate? Or are you basing your vote on some made up problem that literally effects almost no one in our state?

Pretty obvious some people have never even read the Constitution.

You know what else is going to make businesses look elsewhere? High taxes and out of control spending and regulation. The reason those industries are here in Georgia is for the low cost of living and taxes.

She may not have children, but she does have family who she is financially supporting.

Ronricks is cherry picking because there is nothing else negative to say about Stacey. He knows that a Dem finally has the potential to be governor of GA if Kemp actually complies with the law and constitution.

Kemp is sketchy as the Secretary of State currently and I am sure he would be even more sketchy as Governor. We are at a crossroads in GA. Deomocrats, Independents and Republicans alike, please come out and show Stacey some love. She actually has a message that she is sharing with Georgians. She doesnt have time to waste on Kemp and his shenanigans. She is working for the people not against them like kemp.

Stacey has a great spirit and personality and it’s time to give the men a rest. We need a change to take Georgia to the top.

Stacey Abrams is definitely my choice!

Not voting for Kemp. These are two awful candidates and that is what I am concerned about. Deal is many times better than either of these joke candidates. One can't even balance her checkbook the other is stuck in the past and can't get out of his own way with backwards thinking. Neither is a good choice which makes it so funny that people are cheerleading for one or the other as some sort of 'savior'. They both will mess things up just in different ways.

Take a poll on how many people on here make $200k. It won't be many. The ones that do likely don't owe the IRS and aren't 'loaning' themselves money if they do.
