Hopefully, but only the locations close by will step up their game. Bucee's will probably only build a few locations in the Upstate.

This will probably be the only one, but I could see on closer to Gaffney. They havent even started on this one yet that I could tell 2 weeks ago. The one in Florence is already behind schedule by 4 months from what I read. Just another gas station to me.

Yes they would need a bunch of locations to really move the needle. I wouldn't drive from Greenville or even the other side of Anderson and get in that mess for a convenience store.

Yeah their business model is far more targeted at road trippers than daily commuters. I might give them a look if I’m going to or from Atlanta but I’m not making a special trip to check out a supersized convenience store.

It's worth doing at least once. But otherwise, yeah, it's just an oversized Pilot or Love's without the trucks.

So word on the street is the Anderson location for Bucee’s has now been delayed till 2026 due to SCDOT having to rework the exit off and roads off interstate....I'm going to say this project is dead in the water and will never happen.

Probably correct. And if SCDOT says 2026, they mean 2028 or later.

Yeah. That extra gas tax they have been adding every July sure is working miracles with new projects and lead times.
