Well your Longhorn experience was much better than mine! Did call ahead seating so no wait but the food & the service was terrible. It will be a while before we return.
Marshall's sign is up but it just says opening soon.
My experience with a couple dear friends at the Longhorn in Easley during the holidays was absolutely horrible as well. I realize Longhorn is a national chain and their overall quality is not on par with true fine dining restaurants, but my previous experience in other locations (including Greenville) had inflated my expectation and perception of the company's reputation. Everything was apparently wrong with the management of their new restaurant in Easley. From the barely edible food (extremely salty sides, medium strip steak was dry and tasted like liver, rib-meat was extremely fatty and impossible to separate from the bone, etc.) to the lack of service or care by the waitstaff and "managers," our experience at Longhorn in Easley was actually worse than our experience at Cheddars in Greenville (a place we decided to avoid forevermore).
The day hubby and I went there was maybe 10 couples in Longhorn ... The service was very slow and they had our order all messsed up had to send my stuff back twice that is after I had to hunt someone down. Will not go back!
We finally went to the Longhorn in Easley tonight. The food and service were excellent. Our waitress checked on us constantly and the manager came by and asked if everything was OK. We'll go back.
Maybe things are looking up! Hopefully for them the problems came from the start up. After all the restaurant business is tough & has a large turnover rate for employees. I will be optimistic & hope for the best.

The same for me and my friend. We waited for the mad hysteria to die down and then we went at 4:00 p.m. and shared the same experience as you
