Went to Groucho's Deli today. The place was very busy, every table was full. The service was fast and friendly. We saw a lot of tables waiting for food but our order for two came out within ten minutes. The sandwich was just okay. Had the STP sandwich on a sub roll. Not much to it. Just meat and cheese. It would have been better if it had been oven heated, and not microwaved ( I think) because the bread was chewy not crispy. Probably won't be going back. I like BTB Bistro much better.

Went to the one in Greenville a couple of months ago. I don't think I have ever had a nastier sandwich. I will not return.

Agree on all counts. the cheese on my sandwich was supposed to be swiss, I think it was the most processed swiss cheese I have ever eaten, might as well have been white american. Over 6 bucks and they give you half a sandwich. + no veggies at all? not even a little onion? weird. BTB is WAYYY better Although i'd take a wegmans sub over any of that if I could get one

Agreed. Nothing impressive about their food.

So that's why they have been successful and continue to expand. I still think they have excellent sandwiches even if I am in the minority here.

With much better options like 2 Chefs, Jimmy John's, and Camille's nearby, Groucho's will need to significantly raise their quality if they hope to survive long term in Downtown Greenville.

Don't forget about Bellacino's. The Italian Grinder is awesome.

Well on a brighter note, Longhorn opens at 11:00 am tomorrow. Heard their soft opening was great. Hope they do well.

Just to be sure: Is that large building going up, Sam's Club?
