Unfortunately there is already a wall; called The Blue Wall. The Mtns block the majority of both cold and snow that we would otherwise get. Even with that though, climo is to get some cold and snow, both of which have been totally absent this year. If you want to never see cold or snow you could easily move to FL. Even Cola hasn't seen snow in 6 years.

The problem with warm winters is that it screws up crops. Fruit trees blossom too early, then get whacked with a frost at exactly the wrong time. Blueberries and peaches are particularly vulnerable. Also, some deep cold cuts down on the bugs.

Some snow & sleet mixing in near and north of I-85 briefly this AM! Temps in upper 30’s so no road issues.

Light flurries in Tigerville. 39 degrees, so no snowball fights today.

Snowing hard for the last 20 minutes at my house near Paris Mtn. State Park. Beautiful! Update at 10:00. Roofs turning white, snow sticking to the grass. Wild!
