Didn't make it to my meeting but I was not really up to it anyhow. The man came and mowed my lawn yesterday afternoon and today I will mow the dogs yard. Now I am going to feed my neighbors wild birds and then to the post office. I may even stop and get breakfast. I am slacking on the eating the last few days.
I started out in the guest bedroom last night but woke up and could not get back to sleep so decided to go to my own bed. I did get woke up when my neighbor left at 3am but was able to fall back to sleep until 5am. I feel better today.
Dude, I am so use to silence that the radio would probably keep me awake. It may be something to think about for the future.
hope everyone has a lovely day!

Hi, cynwldkat. Another noisemaker that my wife and I use is a fan. We use a good-sized box fan in the bedroom that provides background noise for us when sleeping. It is important to me to have something like this because I have to sleep in the daytime on the days that I go to work later on at night. Also, I sometimes put a black mask on that blocks out light, plus we have to put material over our drapes to further block out light. I realize that you sleep at night, the regular time, I'm just wanting to share the fan idea with you.

I hope things improve with you and hang in there, cyn. You have many folks that love and care about you!

It is a bit scary.......but we know that you will be fine. Can you let your neighbor know that it would be appreciated if someone could look in on you. (I really wish your church would be more supportive.....it annoys me that they arent......that would be a test for me and they are failing it. You also have family in the area......would hope if you asked.....someone could stop over to bring a meal....feed the dogs etc. But you might need to ask. As you can tell...........I am disgusted with your family and your church....I have hope for your neighbors.

That is a bit harsh of me..........I just worry about you and wish someone would or could give you a little support and assistance. I didnt mean to criticize your family and church ..... not so directly at least. I apologize.

No problem elston...I have had similar thoughts...but a lot of the problem is me---and asking. Never had to before and that is very hard for me. My church is not nearly as supportive as others I have heard about. I do have a few people in the church that I can call and will. My son did offer to take me to the hospital but I already have that set up and my neighbors will help. I just want to be able to take care of my animals--feeding, walking etc. Hopefully my recovery won't be to difficult. I am just scared about doing this by myself. But it has to be done and I will do it.
Have a blessed day everyone!

When is the surgery cyn?

If your son offered to take you to the hospital..........perhaps you could tell him that you have that covered but that yo would love it if he could check in with you......that day or the next morning.
