Unleaded gasoline and ethanol do not work well in the gas tank as hockey and shenanigans do not work well on the ice. Both the Flyers and the Capitals have sought to instigate trouble in recent contests. If shenanigans prevail over hockey in their series, neither team will make it past the second round.

I was joking. Don't mistake passion for shenanigans.
I'm listening to the Philly morning sports shows via Tunein today.
The callers are embarrassed for the city.
It would have been disgraceful without the tie-in to Mr. Snider, but with the meaning of the bracelets...oh, so sad.
Remember the Winter Classic when a Ranger fan was almost destroyed outside the ballpark by a Flyer fan...ummm, hooligan?
And the radio hosts just mentioned it was a beautiful night with the tailgating, then the wonderful tribute before the game to Mr. Snider with the lit up bracelets.
Oh, now the hosts have mentioned a caller I didn't hear who was almost "proud" of throwing a bracelet. Hmmm...
Embarrassing is the correct word for what happened last night. Still some continue to believe that Philly Fan gets a bad rap which of course is equally embarrassing.
That was an embarrassment last night, made the sport look bad on national tv. Boo to the Philly fans, but many seem to embrace the childish behavior.
Don't blame all of us for the actions of a few. I heard there were about 100 bracelets thrown on the ice. There were over 20,000 people in attendance. That is a very small fraction. I agree that it was disgusting and an embarrassment. I'm sick of people dissing Philly sports fans, like it is all of us that act that way. Bad things happen at sporting events all over the country, not just here. And it was local news outlets that mentioned how many bracelets were thrown, didn't want you to think I was making that up. Rant over.

It is when you are talking about the fans as a whole. The entire fan base is blamed for the actions of a few. It's been that way for decades.
The Flyers aren't really ringing my chimes this season, but 6 wins in a row! Last night's OT win against Florida was fun to watch.
