ATLANTA - Six young illegal immigrants were arrested Tuesday after they sat down and blocked traffic near the Georgia state Capitol to publicly declare their status and to protest state policies targeting people who are in the U.S. illegally, the latest in a string of such "coming out" events.
The young people were protesting a policy that bars Georgia's most competitive state colleges and universities from accepting illegal immigrants, and they were opposing strict new state legislation.

And after their arrest I hope their next destination is on a bus headed to Mexico.

On second thought, that isn't going to happen...

"Barbara Gonzalez, press secretary for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, issued a statement after the arrests that said: "ICE takes enforcement action on a case-by-case basis - prioritizing those who present the most significant threats to public safety as determined by their criminal history and taking into consideration the specific facts of each case."

Sad how criminals can be so bold because they face almost no consequences.

Because Mexico is the gateway to Central and South America, where these guys are most likely from if not Mexico.

"Police said those arrested at the protest are charged with disorderly conduct, obstructing law enforcement and obstructing a street."

"They included Felipe Baeza, 24, of New York, Dulce Guerrero, 18, of Atlanta and Jessica Vasquez, 18, of Atlanta. Police also arrested three juveniles from the Atlanta area."

Like I said, Mexico is either the homeland or the gateway to the homeland of these people arrested.

Doesn't sound like they were all that peaceful to me, nor were they protesting in a LAWFUL and acceptable manner.
I won't get into the fact that none of that requires violence, but do you think they should be shot for it? Really?

No, that part I do not agree with. I don't advocate violence unless it is absolutely necessary to use force to protect one's self or one's borders. I do wish that the illegal who raped me when I was 6 years old had been shot, which would have prevented not only my own pain but possibly that of other little girls. But then again, I would advocate shooting and killing ANYONE who raped a child, no matter if they were white, black, brown or purple.
