That appears to be all conjecture from the OP I read.
If Obama does in effect decree the Dream Act, which I don't think he can, then I'll be against it. But for now, I don't see that as the policy so I still think it makes sense to prioritize the deportations.
It isn't conjecture. They will be allowed to apply for a work permit.
Not sure, better ask Perry how many he allowed back and gave jobs to
as denninger so eloquently put it:
Obama Doesn't WANT You To Have A Job
You can't make this up.
Senior Obama administration officials Thursday afternoon announced a national, case-by-case review of the more than 300,000 cases pending on the immigration court docket with plans to cull out suspected illegal immigrants without serious criminal records.
That's 300,000 jobs Americans could have were they to simply send every one of these people back.
That, incidentally, is more than three months worth of job creation at recent rates.
All at once.
And this is just the illegals we've caught and have in processing for deportation.
Let's be straight with the American people:
OBAMA DOES NOT WANT YOU TO BE EMPLOYED. HE WANTS AN ILLEGAL ALIEN TO BE ABLE TO REMAIN IN THIS COUNTRY AND TAKE THE JOB YOU COULD OTHERWISE HAVE.
BINGO!!!!!! how freaking serious could he even PRETEND to be on employment with this kind of policy?
he WANTS to go in the wrong direction DELIBERATELY.
Why the work permits though? That seems like a slap in the face to Americans looking for jobs.
It sure does and shows how little Obama cares about unemployed Americans. But -- we knew that when we read how he's trying to expand NAFTA to destroy the American truckdriver.
What happened to laws going through Congress before being passed? Is Obama a dictator who can create whatever new law he pleases?

You need - in an appropriate forum area - need to elaborate about this. When was NAFTA passed? You wouldn´t be referring to the Canadian trucking aspects of it, would you?
This is totally wrong. Why reward illegals? They are criminals for entering the country illegally. All of them should be deported back to where they came from. Our government is a total sell out. No one has the balls to finally correct this severe problem. All of the illegals should be deported so then both parties will have an EVEN playing field. Meaning, both parties will not be able to use the illegals for their dirty campaigns and vote shifting tactics. My parents came to this country legally by waiting their turn and providing everything that they were told to provide to obtain access and they learned English quickly. The hell with the illegals. If anyone reading this has a business here in the states and you hire an illegal you are a total sell out and a coward.
Its time for a third party. Democrats and Republicans are both equally worthless.

Sure you can, from an ultra-right nutcase like Denninger.

Which is true, Obama has been laying the hammer down on illegals. He's got so many on the deportation list, he's putting the criminals on the first buses out of the country as the main priority, with the rest to come.

Crooks like Perry are on the side of giving jobs to illegals. Most republicans LOVE them for the cheap labor they provide. If the greedy right wing goons would stop hiring them, then those jobs would go back to americans like they should.

Sounds like someone needs to put down the tea. Obama has arrested and deported illegals on historic levels. Yes, that Obama fox and ultra right try to bash. He is one, if not the most anti-illegal president this country has ever had. Unlike right wing hero Reagan who gave blanket amnesty, W who called for it, and McCain who also tried to push through an amnesty bill in congress. It's clear to see republicans = amnesty.

that is a delusional post, and doesn't even address the original post.
how symbolic is it that DC is a SANCTUARY CITY? City hall refuses to even consider rules and laws that would require asking foreigners for their residency bona fides. The police department also rebuffs the feds.
obama SPONSORED pro illegal immigration while he was a senator:
way back in May of 2006 US Senator Barack Obama co-sponsored a bill to federally fund healthcare for illegal aliens:
Provide funding for social services for noncitizens.
Obama co-sponsored providing funding for social services for noncitizens
OFFICIAL CONGRESSIONAL SUMMARY: To establish a grant program to provide financial assistance to States and local governments for the costs of providing health care and educational services to noncitizens, and to provide additional funding for the State Criminal Alien Assistance Program (SCAAP).
obama is PRO ILLEGAL and you aren't fooling anyone. you only hurt the country and out of work americans by misrepresenting his position. obama engages in legal fights (at taxpayer expense) with any state that tries to STOP ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION.

obama quote from whitehouse.gov:
Today, we provide students from around the world with visas to get engineering and computer science degrees at our top universities. (Applause.)
But then our laws discourage them from using those skills to start a business or a new industry here in the United States. Instead of training entrepreneurs to stay here, we train them to create jobs for our competition. That makes no sense. In a global marketplace, we need all the talent we can attract, all the talent we can get to stay here to start businesses -- not just to benefit those individuals, but because their contribution will benefit all Americans.
Look at Intel, look at Google, look at Yahoo, look at eBay. All those great American companies, all the jobs they’ve created, everything that has helped us take leadership in the high-tech industry, every one of those was founded by, guess who, an immigrant. (Applause.)
So we don’t want the next Intel or the next Google to be created in China or India. We want those companies and jobs to take root here. (Applause.) Bill Gates gets this. He knows a little something about the high-tech industry. He said, “The United States will find it far more difficult to maintain its competitive edge if it excludes those who are able and willing to help us compete.”
So immigration is not just the right thing to do. It’s smart for our economy. It’s smart for our economy. (end)
it's like we are in a raft out in the water and obama keeps telling people "come on up, we have room"----but we don't and our raft is about to capsize.
This could be the final straw for many Americans at wits end.
