Yep Oktoberfest, lets show how to drink beer. Not much on the history, but the beer is good.

Yes but we don't see it advertised on the scale of Hispanic Heritage month.

I went to the real deal in Munich 7 years ago Nea1 and had a BLAST!:-)

Nobody can party like the Germans!!!!!!lol

Yea it is a shame the history of the even is completely lost, most people dont know it began in celebration of a wedding, now people just go for beer and food.

November - American Indian Heritage Month
June - Caribbean-American Heritage Month
May - Jewish-American

Certain states have heritage months too -Georgia "Confederate Month"

Well Germans have made great contributions to the USA since Colonial times regardless. Believe it or not the first anti-slavery protest in the Colonies was made by German immigrants in the late 1600s!

And where exactly have any of us seen these other than, African_American month and Hispanic heritage month. You NEVER see Irish or German heritage months advertised and put on bill boards and TV.
