Fast forward 25 years....and 11+ million illegals now living in the US.
The Obama Immigration Reform is calling for tougher border control and tighter restrictions on employment.

And neither side will dare mention the Reagan Immigration Reform bill because it turned out to NOT WORK.
Why is it even a question of whether "border control" and employment validation has improved since 1986, with four times the Border Patrol agents, and their improved resources and technology?...

- When we got 300,000 illegals, they promised border control during Reagan's amnesty.
- That got us 3,000,000+ illegals, they promised border control during Clinton's amnesty.
- Now that got us 17,000,000 illegals, they once again promised border control.

And you still believe them? You are some special kind of stupid, aren't you?

With 11+ million illegals you ask why it's even a question ?

The amount of people who would put personal gain above the well being of their Country boggles the mind.

No matter how we slice it we are still adding 1 million illegals every few years and some feel that is sustainable.

What is the average number of years that those illegal aliens have been here?...

Because unless we also remove the incentives to come here like jobs and benefits (and yes birthright citizenship) improved border control will not do it on its own. If those things had been a part of the 1986 amnesty we would see a lot fewer illegal immigrants here today.

What does that matter? There are still more coming everyday.

Obviously the Reagan Immigration Reform bill didn't work because we're back at that same place today, discussing tougher border control and employment verification and giving citizenship to 11+ million illegals.

It's wasn't passed so that in later years we'd do it again if that's what you think.
