DeMint remembers his time in the Senate as similar to "being on a treadmill going nowhere."

This bill is a waste of money & resources. Better efforts would be going to deporting people that are here.

No matter how many discussion start on the same topic and under different names, the facts remain the same.

Yes, they do. However, some remain in eternal denial of the actual costs to our country and its citizens if this law passes.

Some have their own agenda.

Of course he is going to call it "irrefutable", as he now heads "The Heritage Foundation" that errmm, produced a report, and had to do some damage control over one of its authors...

I believe readers clearly understand who is in denial. It's that dog with the bone in the mouth, that just won't give it up.

Yes, and that dog with a bone in it's mouth are the pro-illegals who either don't care about the costs of passing this law or are in deep denial of it because they have an agenda that trumps it.

They aren't in denial. They are fully aware of the cost and harm of illegal immigration and supporting it for the only reason of getting their votes.

It's ironic that people at the low end of income level will be the ones getting royally screwed yet they still support this farce. Everybody else (myself included), the 1% particularly, are laughing so hard that our tears are rushing out.

No wonder they are at the low end to begin with.

Yes, make ridiculous comments about the author of a report you politically, for some unknown reason, disagree with.

Grasping the fact that low-educated, low-skilled workers, few of which will be employable in this country, will be a net burden to the country's social programs is not exactly rocket science.

What is not so clear is why people on the Left who would normally be trying to protect the bottom classes of this country, want to so completely f--k them over by importing large numbers of uneducated, low-skilled people into the country to compete with them for jobs, further depressing wages.

Who are the illegals going to take jobs away from? Not me, I am a highly-educated white - but the blacks and hispanics on the lower socio-economic scale are going to be further crushed by an amnesty which will only lead to even more illegals trying to get in, seeing the stupidity of the US.

How about using facts instead of nonsense?

all they do is feel, they don't think, if it feels good it must be right, never mind the consequences, either they are fools, or they hate this nation....I think we all know its the latter..no one can be this dumb...
