WOW, Ozark-Baby . . . ya gotta give Tom Tancredo credit for standing up for his convictions.

What does that say for all of the other PANDERERS and/or VOTE WHORES?

Right, and when Tancredo was asked on the House floor about his hiring practices for renovations to his own McMansion, ...he let everyone know about 'his' personal convictions.....

Here's his quote:

“I haven’t the foggiest idea how many of those people may have been here illegally, and it is not my job to ask them.”

Tom Tancredo postures for votes, ...his personal convictions don't come anywhere near to matching the phony posturing.

What he mouths in the scripted press releases seems to thrill some folks, it's too bad those folks don't pay attention to his actions instead of his scripted words.

He's a phony....

I especially liked Tancredo's excuse to get out of the Vietnam War, he produced evidence that he suffered from mental illness.

Yeah, ...that Tancredo, ...what a stand up guy. Give him credit for standing up to his convictions....

I read about this today...

Quote:
In 1970 after Tancredo’s student deferments ran out, he appealed his 1-A draft status, which would have put him at the top of the list for draft eligibility during the Vietnam War. Tancredo was then given a 1-Y status, which put him at the bottom of the list after he reported that he had been treated for mental illness as a teenager.

This is another President War dodger...

Bush, Clinton and plenty other Senators and Representatives dodged the draft and is an ignorant argument at best. Bush has lied about anything and everything, as has Cheney. The Clintons have never been known for truthfulness, so stop with the war dodging and supposed lies and such because there is not one politician that has never lied.

What does that have to do with giving credit to Tancredo?

When it comes down to what Tancredo does, versus what Tancredo says, there's no comparison between the two.

He deserves no credit, but some people ignore that....

You want to give credit to another liar?

I thought you wanted to see something different. Maybe not, I guess you'd be happy with another lying politician whose words don't match their actions.

Tancredo has always been against the illegal criminal invasion. There are tons of people in elite positions, and otherwise, that have hired a contractor to do a job and then the contractor hire illegals. Myself, when we had work done on our home in St. Louis County I actually made our contractor prove to me that each employee that he hired was here legally. The first day 3 were told that they could not work on our home because he was not able to verify their right to be in this country. The work did not cost us any more either so it is not that difficult to find out about the legality of the workers any contractor hires. The problem with rich and elite people is the fact that they don't get personally involved in the hiring and such.

BTW, just because you seem to hate Tancredo doesn't mean that he lies about the illegal criminal invasion. I have to laugh at how far out the pro-illegal people go to try and discredit someone that believes in the law being followed, but then pro-illegal folks seem to think that laws are only to be followed by the citizens of the country.
