The novelas are definitely part of the culture - especially in a country like Mexico where people watch them for hours and hours. Just like that kind of skin bleach you see in all the stores that promise to give you a pearly complexion.

And what's really interesting is that all the brown power crap and dwelling on race is from the chicano movement, Mexicans in Mexico don't really dwell much on the white and brown stuff. You don't see the Indians and mestisos in Mexico making everything a race issue like Mexicans in the USA turn everything into race.

Ya spanish surnames are euro names, so whats your point so is the name Martin Luther King and Tyrone Jenkins but are the people that own those names of euro extraction even if they most likely also have euro genetically in them?

Bottom line: the ancestors of most American Blacks were brought here against their will (slavery) whereas illegal aliens came here on their own volition. Translation: the latter need to leave the USA or else (within the law).
