Not only that but MOST of the rest of world are deporting illegal aliens as well as putting up legal and physical barriers when they can... the only ones complaining are those who want to cross the border illegally and those who want America to take care of the world..

Why? Mexico does not think twice before they steal money or rape American women or any number of unjust things to Americans and to others.Hypocrites is what Mexicans are.

I need to watch video?

I watched the video, it says no barriers, it says there are unguarded bridges, it says there are breaches in the Arizona sections, it says nothing about any fence having been built in Texas.

Just as I said, people are promising a fence, but no new construction has happened in Texas.

Pretty odd to say it's 'working', ....when it's not even been built, eh?

Quote:
Seventy miles of border fence will be built by the end of the year, but none of it in Texas, U.S. Border Patrol Chief David Aguilar told local officials on Monday.

The rest of the 370 miles of proposed fence, which includes 135 miles in Texas, is still in the design phase but won’t be built until the end of 2008, the nation’s top border patrol official said.
News: Border Patrol: No border fence in Texas until 2008, border, fence, aguilar - The Monitor (http://www.themonitor.com/onset?id=2531&template=article.html - broken link)

'Won't be built until the end of 2008', (if at all, now that the Hutchison amendment was signed into law...)

A 'video' is not a fence, ....there hasn't been any new fence built in Texas.

Texas Republican Kay Bailey Hutchison wrote and proposed the amendment to gut the fence and Texas Republican John Cronyn, and New Mexico Republican Pete Domenici were co-sponsors.

Quote:
Notwithstanding subparagraph (A), nothing in this paragraph shall require the Secretary of Homeland Security to install fencing, .....
Quote:
Just in case Subparagraph A was not clear enough, Hutchison added Subparagraph D to leave no room for doubt that this amendment is intended to make sure DHS is under no legal obligation to ever build any fence,
Special Report: Government Border Fence Trickery: FireSociety.com -- America's Grassroots Community (http://www.firesociety.com/article/19402/ - broken link)

The Fire Society must be part of the liberal media, eh?

Bush signed the bill, he could have vetoed the bill, but he didn't.......

No matter that some people would like to believe some dirty liberals gutted the fence, it wasn't liberals, it was conservative Republicans pandering to their business lobbies.

Still no fence....

What are you worried about, you love the illegals being here but your stating still no fence. You dont want the fence so why continue to post like its a problem?
Heck with the fence, put armed military with tanks along the border and you wont need a fence. They wont even have to fire a single shot, just them being there would do the trick.
Better yet, armed citizens of the United States would do the trick.
We are allowed to protect our borders in any way we have to.

read the complete article... pro.

He approved the county's plan to modify 22 miles of flood-control levees along the Rio Grande with a 28-foot sheer face on the river side.
"When completed at the end of the year, they will serve both functions," he said at a Border Patrol station in Edinburg, the Hidalgo County seat. "It's a great example of where we are able to dovetail what we need with what the community needs." One of the most significant advantages for the county is that the border wall-levee system will stay along the river's edge.

How's that plan working?

I've heard about all kinds of promises and plans....

...you think a plan is as good as a fence?

...all we need is another couple thousand miles of 'plans'.

That ought to do it.

The fence is being built.

That is all that matters.

The next step: Placing the military on the border
