No. It`s a slap in the face to those families who had loved ones die in the attack and just a slap in the face towards Americans, period.
How's it a slap in the face? It's not being built on Ground Zero, nor is it being assembled from the wreckage of any of the planes. It's just a mosque. They own the land and they can do what they want with it. I really don't see how this is an issue at all. Appealing to peoples' emotions is a logical fallacy.
it's not about having the right to do it, it's about being richus..
Build it, who cares? 9/11 is almost a decade ago, now, get over it already. Would the same people pooping their drawers over this one have any problem with a christian church being built near the Oklahoma bombing site?
I think some have a narrow vision of who died in the world trade center. Among the deaths were 32 Muslim victims, and 11 Jewish victims, which represent a percentage much higher than what they represent in our society. Using the estimated number of Atheist in the US there were around 480 non religious people, around 900 protestants, and 800 catholics. The rest were a mixture of other views around the world. It looks to me as if this was not an attack on one religion, but one way of life, and the people who are fighting the Mosque are giving the terrorist what they wanted. We have a freedom of religion or in my case a freedom to be non- religious. I think this is the issue we need to protect, and recognize how important that freedom is.

my mere openion is that
Islam against Fintah
if existence of the mosque in this place specifically may cause Fitnah , then i think that theire is no necessery for it
