Let's all get together for pizza when you get back.
Ah, I'm jealous of RR too. Jagfan, hope you can visit before the yuan is revalued.

Kahn Mongolian BBQ is located in the same building that was once Hong Kong Bistro and is owned by the same lady Chou. My wife and I first went back two weeks ago when she reopened and have been back twice since then because we both love Mongolian BBQ. She also offers a basic sit down Chinese menu that is very good but most of the customers we have seen concentrated on the BBQ because it is well put together.
The price is very reasonable for all you can eat.

Lunch $7.95 (ages 4-6 $4.95-----7-10 $6.95)
Dinner $13.95 (ages 4-6 $4.95---7-10 $8.95) Dinner includes both shrimp and scallops.

God knows I can't get anything even close to this back in Jax...
If you want beef noodle soup, Bentos by the Town Center is actually not bad.

The owner is a good friend, his family is Taiwanese, so it's pretty authentic.

Or go to Happy Garden on University for beef noodle soup. I was a little surprise when I found out they serve beef noodle soup since the place usually caters to the backward folks of duval county. Make sure you order the beef noodle soup NOT on the menu.

The owners are Taiwanese as well, very friendly, and they will tell you themselves their menu items are mostly for white ppl.
