Maybe as soon as the old coach and owner leave the Jags can win a Superbowl or maybe even a playoff game.

Happened here when Modell move the old Browns to Baltimore. Though technically it was under the name Ravens, as he was required to leave the name history and colors behind, it was tough to watch Art Modell celebrate a Super Bowl victory in another city.

As a fan from a city that lost it's team, I would hate to see any other NFL city lose their team to another. It's the fans, and the local businesses that end up getting the shaft. Besides, LA lost not one but two teams, so I don't understand why the NFL is so adamant about pu,tting a team in LA? Sure it's the 2nd largest tv market, but still.

Just heard on the radio that the guys from Pakistan....

And a self made billionare or multi millionare....

As far as his religion...not sure if he's a die hard practicing muslim or Hindu or just one by 'default'...

Kind of like how people just assume that if your American, your 'Christian'...

Christanity has kind of become the default religion of the U.S....but not many actually abhere to it or practice it...

It's the same way with some countries over there also...

But obviously he's more of a football fan than anything else...
And that's what counts on Sundays...

Yea, but I know how Jacksonville can be....I dont believe the illusion that the GOB network is dying off...maybe just hiding. Although diversity is a good thing.

Default Diversity has nothing to do with it...

He's a owner of a NFL team...

He's not here to promote his faith, his culture, his homeland...(which is actually right here in America)(He was born in Pakistan, but raised in U.S.)

The man probably speaks more fluent english than many I'v heard around here....

Purchased a company for $50,000, and now that companies worth a Billion or more...

I'm sure he's not going to be like Jerry Jones, all down on the sidelines trying to run things...

Again he's here to promote good football...not his religion...

I have no problem with it...It's not like I ever got to hang out with the last owner...

These owners are so shielded and away from the public that I wouldn't care if the owner was a space alien from the planet zerto...

as long as it could manage a good football team and bring in winners...

LA is a media darling and the sports media has been foaming at the mouth to get an NFL franchise back there for years. Despite the fact the city can't hold a franchise for lack of support, something they've conveniently left out on their attacks on Jacksonville. Attached below is a great example of a national sportswriters slant on yesterday's news. Notice the headline...

Jaguars essentially stuck in Jacksonville until '27 - NFL - Yahoo! Sports
