Welcome to the world of the NFL .... Washington Redskins games charge the following:
Beer - $9.00
Soda - $4.00
Souvenir Soda Cup - $5.00
Bottle of water - $5.00 - and this isn't a massive bottle of water, its a bottle that would cost you $1.00 out of a vending machine.

It's no different than going to the movies and buying a medium coke for $4.75 and paying $4.75 for a little bag of popcorn. I don't go to the movies often so I buy them anyway (even with my elderly mother shaking her head). Must be my rebellious nature...

Any place where you are a captive customer you should expect to pay more. That is a component of capitalism. And that is why after you pass security at the airport and they take away your bottled water you are gonna have to dig deep for another bottle once you get inside.

The secret is to park far from the stadium and walk and make sure you have a good meal and a few beers before you go to the game.

I really feel for those many of those families try to afford a day at the stadium.

Yea, even MOJO says the team needs help! Wow, we are 1-4 and the Lions are 5-0. Detroit Lions are 5-0 now.........whatever this team done after last season, we sure need some of it!

Matthew Stafford was the final piece of the Detroit Lions drafting effort to improve the team. He played as a rookie and it took him a little time to learn the system.

Maybe with Gabbert the Jags have started the same process, and should expect better results in his 3rd year in as a starter. Not the first year!

Should we? Probably not. If it wasn't such a slap in the face they should demote him to defensive coordinator and hire Jon Gruden, (a well known QB developer) or maybe even Marty Mornhinweg the O coordinate with the Eagles.
