If this isn't a troll I don't know if I can manage my anticipation of the family gathering. He better confront him right away so we get details faster.
Anybody know where the guy lives? I want to start listening to a local police scanner.
Not one person has been able to offer any evidence whatsoever that a legal offer is different than a factual offer.
This is exhibit A that I received both a factual and legal offer.
The evidence is right here - YOU DON'T HAVE A JOB!
Nope. According to Jeo's legal definition of 'offer' I did in fact have an offer.
However for a contract to be valid, it also must have a valid acceptance. This would require you (not your friend) to accept the offer to make it a verbal or written contract.
Question: Did you notify the business owner (not through your friend), that you accepted the offer? If you did not, there is no legal contract between you. Up to the point you accepted the offer, any offer is subject to be withdrawn.
Question #2: The offer required you to take a professional course prior to employment at your expense. Did you sign up for and pay for a course that would be required before you started work? If you did not, you have not shown/proven your acceptance of the offer as this was a specific requirement for a job.
If he did as planned, it might have escalated to where the police were involved and he's waiting to hear from Max Cherry Bail Bonds to get him out of county lock up.
