My cousin's son is having his bar mitzvah in a few months. While we are invited to it, I doubt we are to attend. I would like to send a gift but I don't have a clue as to what to send. Please don't suggest $$$ because I would be embarrassed as to what I can afford to send because his parents are boocoo rich.

Do you know what your cousin's son is interested in? It's hard to suggest a gift without knowing more about him. 13 is a rough age for gifts, which is why the standard for b'nei mitzvah gifts is typically money or a donation, often in increments of 18. Even if your cousin is wealthy, money of any amount would be appreciated. It seems that many bar mitzvah celebrations that I have been to recently also offer a suggestion of somewhere to donate.
