Well said, Richard. I have a close friend who is fully shomer Shabbos, and a convert, who at one time had strong Jesus beliefs. He like you, started having serious difficulty fitting him (with a little h) into his beliefs. So he decided to covert. Took him 3 years and two beis din's, but he got there. A full blown a orthodox Jewish convert - that guy really worked hard to be a Jew - and full on!
