I don't know if this is the right place to ask this.
Or if it's been answered somewhere else.
But can someone tell me why 'Easter' and 'Passover' are not going to be at the same time?
Don't even know if I'm asking this right or not.
Hope someone can straighten me out, thanks so much.
It's a leap year on the Hebrew calendar this year, which adds an extra month onto the calendar. From a Gregorian calendar perspective, that pushes back Passover by a month. I have idea how Easter is calculated, but Passover and all the Jewish holidays come late this year.
What's Easter have to do with Pesach is what I meant....
IMHO this thread does not belong in this forum for discussion. The Last Supper was a Pesach meal. Thus this year the Christian calendar is wrong as the timeline followed is now backwards.
But can someone tell me why 'Easter' and 'Passover' are not going to be at the same time?
Because you're looking at two different religions with two different calendars.
Since we don't keep up with Christian holidays or use them as a basis for our holy days, you might be better off asking your question in the Christian forum.

- Thanks, but I don't celebrate the dead saint holy-days of the catholic church.
It's why I came here.
And should it come up? I don't eat pork either.
