What you favorite activities at the Appalachian Fair? I always like to see the local arts, crafts, and produce.

If you go, be sure to support your local Ruritan by purchasing some of the best ice cream ever made.

It's been years since I've been to the Gray Station fair. It was the first time I lived here, years ago. I'd like to this year but probably won't manage it.

Someone take pictures!

We missed the fair this year, been so busy with work and home projects that the fair just came and went this year without us getting to check it out. But boy did we see the traffic! Must have been a banner year which is good.

Hello, East Tennessee peeps. I just stopped in to say hello and to tell you how excited I am to be visiting my Mom & Dad in G'ville next week (Sept 20). I hope to feel some cool mountain air and spend time with friends and relatives.

And if any of you are ever interested in flying to the Tampa area, Allegiant has really cheap flights into the little airport at Clearwater/St. Petersburg. I'm flying to Knoxville this time, but they fly to Tri-cities, too. Even with them charging me ala carte for every little thing, my roundtrip is $139. Awesome!

I've done the inexpensive Allegiant flight from the TRI to my daughter's in Ft Lauderdale.. It IS a deal and from there you can easily get to Miami International for flights outside the country or to major US cities. It's a very positive thing for the TRI...

Also, just how do you put your *friends* alongside your name?? Thanks!
