We've been considering a day trip to Asheville to get away. They have several vegan/vegetarian friendly restaurants there. I am so jealous. I want those restaurants here! Thats what Greater Knoxville needs next!

I agree with Mrs. Mopar that Frisch's Big Boy would do well in Knoxville, as well as neighboring southern markets. And, as she pointed out, not the same as Shoney's and Big Boy/Bob's Big Boy out of Michigan.

For those who love Zaxby's...

A new store is opening in Turkey Creek next to Publix I found out yesterday. It's closer to west Knoxville residents than the one on the Strip.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before but I really want a The Cheesecake Factory. Yes, I know it's a chain. I still would love to have one here.
