Drove by today. Steel posts are in, some block walls going up, and a lot of activity.

Crossing my fingers, then.

Greg had to travel to Nashville in December for work and I tagged along just to shop TJ. I am rationing out the chocolates and salts I bought there so dang it, they need to hurry up! lol

Barking Spider gave us an update five days ago. They are building it, no hush-hush.

Sorry, what i meant by hush hush was between tj's corporate offices in So. Cal. and us....not much communication between headquarters and my husband who is potentially the assistant mgr. or possibly the Mgr. Our house just went on the Mkt. in a very poor real estate environment out here. We only can hope and pray it sells b/4 we make our move to Knoxville

I personally don't get the whole Trader Joe's thing. I moved up to Spokane from Knoxville, and they opened one up here, but I don't think it's as good as the Three Rivers Market in Knoxville. The only impressive thing was the alcohol selection, but the rest of it you can pretty much get at Fresh Market, Three Rivers, etc.

Don't get me wrong; I'm not against TJs, but I don't understand the whole cultish following of the place. There were people lining up the night before to get in like it was The Beatles in 1964. What the heck?

I would say you clearly "don't get it" then...no hard feelings

Like you said, you don't understand, and you don't "get it". Your loss.
