Very true.

They are a lot more decent looking compared to the others. But all the real eyecandy work as bartenders, barbacks, beach venues or V.I.P. servers in the night clubs....Tao, Moon, LAX, PURE, Ghost Bar...etc. Basically where the young hip crowds are. The people that do the hiring at these places dont mess around. They want perfect boobs, extreme personality, great face and tone bodies. Most currently working cocktail waitresses would not even get consideration in any of these night spots. Cocktail waitressing is old school. Mostly they will be servicing guys in their late 30s and older.

Tao Beach on the other hand.......Some of those cocktail ladies just would not fit in.

In six months you'll be sleeping with your manager in order to get him to pay for your breast implants, you'll be addicted to meth, and your husband will have taken the kids you've abandoned and moved back to Texas.

Welcome to Las Vegas!

Congrats on the job, but am I the only one who found your "I am sooo hot, these Las Vegas locals have nothing on me" post, offensive and immature? Get over yourself. If you are a 10 it is because of a lucky toss of the genetic dice, not because you have accomplished anything worthwhile. Those "non 10" applicants you so willingly mocked have children to feed, bills to pay and financial obligations to meet just like you do. It is sad to read a woman summarily dismissing women on their looks. I understand and agree they should dress professionally for the interview, but I draw the line at thinking they don't deserve a decent job just because the two screwing adults who created them didn't have "good look genes" to pass on.

I'm with the person who posted about getting a job below. Getting a job was easy so why does everyone complain? My husband just got hired for a maintenance job that pays about $48k per year... So what's the deal? I don't even have that much experience and it's been a few years since I've held a job (by choice).

And just a gripe or vent...what's with all these lousy looking cocktail servers? My first interview was a group interview and out of the 50+ women that were there only a select few (and yes, I put myself in this category) were actually attractive. Most looked worn down, tired, slutty (seriously, who goes to a job interview wearing club attire) and rough. Like party girls who never moisturize. There was another thread on here from a woman saying she wanted a cocktail/casino position and was considered beautiful. Some random guy made a statement similar to, "a Nebraska 10 is the equivelant of a Las Vegas 4"...if this is true OMG wow, that must make me a Las Vegas 25!. To this day I still haven't seen a gorgeous cocktail server, most are middle aged or young and rough looking. Or butter-faces with too many tattoos and the beginnings of beer guts. I have seen some cuties but definitely none that have made me go WOW! So what's the deal? Where are all these "Las Vegas 10's"?

I'm just saying. After reading dude's rating system, I admit, I was a bit nervous...Even though I might be considered a 10 in other places, in LV I was thinking I wouldn't be able to compete with all these mega beauties...but WOW!

That's it, rant over.

I'm excited to start working though!!
Who are you trying to convince that you're so hot, us or yourself?

Classic low self-esteem behavior.

Las Vegas isn't really the area to be marketing moms, children and families unless a specific brand hires you.

Why don't you start by having some nice photos taken and submitting them to the local talent agencies? If they see something special you will have the opportunity to get booked for a variety of different jobs.

Maybe this is why you got the job so easy...

Hey I like the whole thing. A wow broad can still pick up a reasonable job just for being a wow broad and not screwing up the interview.

It is nice to know hedonism is still in vogue here. You really don't want the strip going straight.

And I think this Von guy is spending too much time in the wrong places....

Though I sent him some points anyway.
