The earth's atmosphere is pretty large and usually when I smoke outside the smoke goes up and away, so save your blanket statements and generalizations. You are more likely to get cancer from the other carcinogens that are plentiful in our air, food, household chemicals, or even the UV rays for that matter. And alcohol absolutely does kill, and it does kill innocents as well.

That being said, my 8 yr old boy has convinced me to quit. I will start the process this week. I still stand by what I have said though. Smokers absolutely have the right to smoke as long as they are not harming anyone else in the process, just as you have the right to not be exposed to their smoke.
Absolutely ! Smokers have the right to smoke aslong as I (or any other non smoker) do not have to breath in their smoke (under any circumstance, anywhere)
Good luck in quitting.

So, let's see, now we have laws that tell smokers where they can and cannot smoke and that is still not good enough? Geesh. Find a non smoking area in casino, then or go play at the airport for pitys sake.

Let's see, if they ban cigarettes, who's going to pay all the lost tax revenue? Oh yeah, YOU!

BTW, I am a reformed smoker. Quit 15 years ago, but I still find it hilarious that nons are still pushing. I just go where it is not if it is bothering me.

That is quite a telling statement about the type of person you are.

And someone agreed to marry you? I pity you both.

How did I miss this part of that post? Very telling indeed, and I retract my original statement about Piyi not being inconsiderate. To be glad about anyones imminent death is wrong on so many levels. +rep to you swagger.

Default Which casino?

Is there a smoke free casino? Which one would you say is the best for someone who is very sensitive to smoke? I'm allergic. So can I ever gamble in Vegas?

Poker Palace on Las Vegas Blvd North supposedly is smoke-free

The M has a smoking section and a non-smoking section

Laughlin has some non-smoking sections

Atlantic City (i know, not Vegas) is non-smoking now, i believe

you could always go to a grocery store or convenience store for non-smoking slots/video poker

This is all hilarious. The smoke nazis crack me up. Did you guys know the sun causes cancer? Im thinking you should push to get a big sunshade and only allow 1-2 hours sunlight a day. It would certainly be awful for anyone to die of skin cancer. Why do you choose to go outside and kill yourselves? Thats an awful habit and I dont want to be around it. Why should I have to be exposed to the cancer causing sun...?

That sounds ridiculous right? Its the same argument you guys offer, something can kill it needs to be banned. Even if its a personal choice. Alcohol kills, both the drunk driver and the innocent. I dont hear you being so disrespectful to them. Probably cause you drink. Of course you dont drink and drive so its ok. Unlike the many smokers who HAVE TO GO OUTSIDE and willingly do so. Thats pretty damn considerate if you ask me. Yet, they are still *******s for going out of their way to give you what you whine about needing "clean air". If I had my way people could smoke everywhere, and those that dont like it can go somewhere else, those that do cool. It should be up to the establishment. Not the government.

btw, I also hate fish. They should ban that ****. Stinks so bad. Goes and dirtys up my air. How long will this go on...?

Kid...while NJ has now gone smoke-free...AC has gotten some reprieve (probably due to heavy lobbying by casino industry.) The AC casinos all have smoke-free sections, now, which accounts for what appears to be roughly 40%. Don't quote me on that figure, but I'm going by what I experienced recently at Harrah's Marina there. If you check casino floor maps (available on-line), you see the non-smoking sections designated by color, and you can gauge for yourself how much is actually non-smoking.

I believe that off casino floor, is now totally non-smoking, including the bars and restaurants. Not sure about about all hotel rooms.

my only beef w/ smokers is that many of them treat the world as their trash can w/ respect to their butts...esp. when driving. every day i see at a minimum one person fire a still light butt out a car window. i am this close to getting outta my truck and tossing it right back in their car.

to go w/ the above point, it also pisses me off that so many people toss their beer bottle out, both in the desert and in town. i just had to spend a pants load to fix my dogs foot because he slice a big chunk of his pad off on our nightly walk.

but IMO smokers get a bigger pass on this cause it is just a 'butt'. if you unwrapped some gum would you throw the wrapper out the window?

is it that hard to be respectful and to take care of your mess? you created the stinky butt that you don't want to have smell up your car...why should we have to deal w/ it?

*the you in the above is meant as the 'royal' you, not addressing KS...and yeah, i know this not just a LV problem
