I am going to cut my internet off ($45 monthly) and my gasoline bill will go down $20 a month since I will hardly be driving. In other words, I am basically going to get the same amount I did when I was working. As far as walks, that is actually dangerous in my neighborhood.
Drive to a safe place to walk.

Oh come on now, excuse flatly rejected. You say you live near Flamingo/Maryland, and you can always walk around the nearby UNLV campus anytime of the day or nite, as I've walked my ferret around there on my early morning (1am-5am) walks where they have security patrols.

And not having anything else to do now, inbetween job hunting, you can go over to UNLV and audit classes for free!

I've even walked my ferret around Sunset Park in the wee hours of the morning, pitch black out!

Meh...salads are terrible if you use too much dressing! Steak is good as long as you only have a deck of cards!

I do this a lot...have an appropriate protein portion and add it to salad.

Hmmm maybe I need to get a ferret as a security device!

I have lost some weight.

On a side note, something very bad has happened to me this week. After 5 years at my job I got laid off. I have never been laid off before in my life so now I get to see how it is to be one of those unemployed persons that I used to mock.

Sorry to hear about your job loss but its probably a blessing in disguise. i would use the time to find out all the free job training out there and find a new career than wait to go back to work in another dead end job. You also have no ties to Vegas so relocation would be easy for you.

Don’t get cocky and think you cannot screw up in Security. If I had a 1$ for every table fill that was screwed up by Security over the years. I would be retired living comfortably in the Cayman Islands.
