I haven't tried the electronic cigarettes, I do roll my own with empty filters, using, largely, chemical free tobacco, which I've been doing for 10 years now. You can notice the difference in your health, just from getting away from those chemical-laden store-bought cigarettes, which I haven't bought in 10 years!

There's an interesting thread running in the Health forum on Nicorette gum. One addiction traded for another. One woman, 20 years after quitting smoking, is still chewing Nicorette gum!

I tried Nicorette one time, and it backfired, finding myself smoking and chewing at the same time for the enhancement! And I've know patch wearers who smoke simultaneously for the extra enhancement!

We have friends with ferrets here in UT maybe we could hook you up.
I will ask. Getting the bugger to you might be hard. I won't be in Vegas for who knows how long. We do have friends using the place in april. can you transport them in a box in a car?

Good news? I'm not pregnant

Today I couldn't move, not to work not to eat not to drink. The depression black hole sucked me up.
My husbands aid said I don't have another client till 4:00 do you want me to just take care of Bill.

It was like a rainbow came into the room! I just could not care for him today. Sometimes we get help just at the second we need it.
Hang in there. Glad you had some respite care today.

Electronic cigarette explodes in man's mouth, causes serious injuries - HealthPop - CBS News

"so much for being safer. An electronic cigarette blew up in a Florida man's face, leaving him in a hospital with severe burns, missing his front teeth and a chunk of his tongue."
I told my friend about that. She thinks it was just a freak accident. I still think they would be helpful for those who just cannot seem to stop smoking, even if their health depends on it.
Plus, if everyone that smoked used them in casino's, the air would be a whole lot better.
The water vapor they inhale does have nicotine in it. Not sure about other ingredients.

Petco and Pet Kingdom both sell ferrets from Marshall Farms but Petco is cheaper and sometimes have their $99 deal. Sorry you lost your ferret we lost ours too. We let a dog outside and didnt realize the ferret ran out with it. I wouldn't mind having another ferret but I want one that is not from Marshalls Farm or any of the other mills but that is hard to come by without looking out of state. Goodluck.

Yea. It's the 'other' stuff that is a bit concerning. If the thing has the ability to blow up and do that much damage it does make you wonder exactly what is inside that little barrel.

Reminds me of the story I read just the other day about a treat I have been giving my dogs for a long time. Both the FDA and consumers are now saying it's killing their dogs and making them sick via kidney failure. Not that long ago my dog was peeing blood. The ingredients just list it as dried out chicken with 'spices'. The product is "Waggin train" jerkey treats for anyone else with pets.

Maybe the people tried to "light" the cigs with a lighter? I know a couple people who used them and although they are addicted to them, they are off the others.

I am very careful about giving my pets anything from China. Costco continues to sell the chicken jerky treats. My dogs love them but I am not going to risk it. Too many pets have been sickened and some have died.
