I've been hearing about this on the radio! A very unique way to raise awareness of yeilding for pedestrians.

This adds just one more level of stress, besides keeping my eyes glued to the speedometer and having night vision, with a driving a car, and I do most of my driving at night, which adds to the stress!

In view of the accidents in the paper recently concerning the pedestrian accidents, it makes me wonder where they get this phrase: Americans love their cars!

Until, until, until!!!

I saw a lady in a motorized scooter cross Decatur (near Sahara) move into a left turn lane and proceed to finish crossing Decatur. I sat there stunned as she moved through traffic like the video game frog-er.
It's scary on the road these days!

So after a long hiatus I decided I need to start watching the news and know whats going on in the world. I think I got so fed up with the sorrow, crime, meanness...I just gave up for a bit. Sadly....I think the fact that many of us do this is our downfall as a society. Things become unchecked and unchallenged in government.

*takes a deep breath*
*turns on TV*

Yesterday I was driving home from work with the top down (it was a gorgeous 77 degrees!). A car full of teenage girls passed me, and one girl leaned out her window and yelled "OMG! That car has eyelashes! I LOVE YOUR CAR!"

SO it's a hit with the high school set.
