I also keep a base level of messiness in my car with a bottle strewn here or an old newspaper there. Honestly, that is the best anti break in system there is. Nobody wants to break into a car that gives the immediate appearance of having nothing valuable inside.
LOL...trust me, it is a work truck. Nothing neat about it.

I leave NOTHING visible in my car, it is always kept spotless inside, with the exception of a few cds and some relatively on important papers

If you see people trolling through the parking lots or in your neighborhood after midnight and beyond with backpacks, make sure your car is parked in the garage. If you can't do that, make sure nothing is available for thieves in your car. And take your garage door opener with you before leaving your car.
I heard people are doing this, looking for unlocked cars or cars easy to break into if it's a dark area and taking anything they can find in there worth something.

There ya go. I know if I was down and out and I had decided to resort to stealing, I sure wouldn't be wasting time busting into late 90s models in poorer areas. I'd be right up in CH, Summerlin and parts of Henderson making my time worthwhile. Stealing a car altogether is a whole other issue that deals with the model of your car regardless of where you live. Some models are incredibly more prone to being stolen due to interchangeable parts that can be stripped right off and sold with ease.

Lol. Well, certain areas are just free for all's and pretty much anything goes. Especially when you have a high concentration of criminals on foot who just circulate in the same locations due to no other choice. You reminded me of my recent camping trip. Someone stole my marshmallows and my handi wipes right off my campground before I woke up.

Find the raccoon with clean hands...and you find your thief!

So......
I'm in 24 Hour Fitness on Boulder this morning at 3:30am and saw a straight out of jail white supremacist working out.
Tattoos all over his head and face, arms, legs--every thing---the works.

I saw him there last week and thought it was a fluke.
Nope. He's a member.
Today he walked past me and made it a point to look me dead in my face.
I guess he's use to giving that 'shock value' when people first see him.
Didn't work on me...I barely acknowledged him.

Anywho.....

Carry on...
