How many of you caught the nature show this morning, after last night's rain?

Wasn't that too beautiful for words? All that beautiful snow in the Sheep Mountains, the Spring Mountians, and the beautiful cloud forest? Wowee!

A morning like this, snap a dozen photo's of all that spectacual beauty, upload them for the rest of the country to see, and you'd have a steady stream of moving vans coming here from every corner of the country!

A morning like this, I feel so lucky for living here, Las Vegas at it's prettiest!
San Francisco, eat your heart out!

Default Today only: For Jack-In-The-Box & deal lovers, free sandwich w/large drink

Today only, Jack-In-The-Box has a great deal (one of the few fast food places I like, YMMV).

All you do is buy a large drink (i.e. Soda or similar) & you get a free grilled sandwich, which they've just introduced. I tried a Deli Trio, which is a mix of meats with some cheese & (I think) sauerkraut. Reminded me of a Reuben & it was very good for fast food - not quite Carnegie Deli, but you get the idea.

Basically, you're getting a large drink & sandwich for the price of a large drink. ($1.94 incl tax for me) If you bought both at normal menu prices, it would be about $6.25. LVD's gotta be all over this one.

Buzz, take the wife out for a high-brow meal. Everyone else, I hope you enjoy it if you try it.

I now return you to the revival of two year old threads.

What I remember from TV the past few days was Jim Gibbons claiming to not have had sex since 1995.

I think IHOP's got some pancake deal today, too. I tried to look it up on their website, but apparently it is down or crashed.

I think he meant with his hand.

It was a free short stack of pancakes, and they were taking donations for the Shriners Hospitals for Children.

I just saw on Ch 13 news that there's a movement to make pole dancing into a summer olympic sport. It's too late for it to debut at the 2012 Games in London. I can see how there's gymnastic qualities to it, but what's next, lap dancing?

Default Why is 300 the magic number for strippers and others

Due to reasons beyond my control I had a stripper stay with me to help her get back on her feet. No pun intended, and really I wanted to do this for her. She got a job at Cheetahs and was able to move on really quickly. Funny thing is that she always had the same # when I asked how much she made. It is the common amt for any stripper anywhere. It also seems to be the amt dealers make (on average) valets, cocktails, any service related person. What is up with that?

You're apparently unfamiliar with the Las Vegas service industry cabal. All members are instructed to say "$300" when asked how much they made.

Seriously though, if you asked a Spearmint Rhino dancer what she made on an average night, I'm sure the number would be a lot higher than $300.
