Doesn't explain siblings of addicts who are perfectly normal, upstanding citizens. It's not all on the parents. Parents cannot control or influence every decision the child makes. So that I don't start spewing every cliche there is, I'll just stop here.

I do in fact think that the current heroin epidemic started with overprescribing of pain pills, but I think now there is so much of if and it's so cheap and pain pills are getting harder to get. All that it takes is one addict in a high school, and inevitably that person starts dealing at least small time. I do think kids are starting with heroin now also...it's $10 a bag.
