For almost an hour there has been no programming on any channel, just a blue screen that says:
'Altice Information Channel'
LI-All
Elevator music is playing.
One would think that a decent company that cared about its customers would have sent out emails or at least have a message on their website home page explaining what they're doing and when they expect to restore service. If they cared they probably could even have posted that information on the blue screen, especially since it says it is the information channel. The guide shows regular programming information.
Maybe they were doing an update or something, and they care about their customers because they're doing it at 4:30 am when not many people are watching TV.
Altice is known as a cost cutting company, which means they won't cut costs in just one area, they'll do it in all areas.
If it costs (just throwing out numbers) $500.00 to alert everyone with a real update of what is going on versus putting up just a blue screen that says: 'Altice Information Channel' LI-All and elevator music is playing which costs $50.00 then they will do it the cheaper way.
Their line of thinking is, they don't care about the customer so if you leave, they know there will be another customer to come in and replace you.

Five and a half hours later, same thing. Updates are fine, but there should be notification.

One time they played the song for the 'Carlton Dance' … you can imagine how much fun that was
I want to be in your elevator.
